Meltwater Farm is a 59-acre, diversified regenerative farm located in Argyle, New York. We grow 3 acres of year-round Certified Organic vegetables, raise a flock of sheep on pasture for meat and wool, and grow perennial crops like asparagus, raspberries, grapes, and orchard fruit. We also raise organic vegetable, herb, and flower seedlings with a focus on native pollinating species. We tend a vibrant and diverse farm ecosystem of pastures, riparian zones and forested slopes.
Our food is sold at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market, Schenectady Greenmarket, and wholesale to local food businesses. We are committed to working with rural and urban food access projects in our region, like Comfort Food Community and the Schenectady Greenmarket Food Box Program. Our goal is to grow accessible, abundant and highly nutritious food with a low environmental footprint and to cultivate a vibrant community along the way.
