Summer 2024 CSA Program

CSA = Community Supported Agriculture

CSA programs are a way for farms and communities to support each other. CSA's enroll members who pay upfront in the Spring, when costs on the farm are highest, to receive a box of seasonal vegetables (a 'share' of the harvest) regularly throughout the growing season.

How it Works

Our Summer CSA will run 18 weeks from the first week of June through the end of September.

All shares, whether Full or Half Share, get the same size box- Half Shares just pick up every other week rather than weekly.

All shares include a seasonal assortment of 8+ different vegetables.

Pick up will be at our farm in Argyle. Schedule and timing will be determined this Spring.

Sign ups for Fall and Winter CSA will open in late summer.

Full CSA Share

Price: $540/ 18 weeks ($30/box)

A Full Share buys a box of 8+ seasonal vegetables every week.

Half CSA Share

Price: $270/ 9 weeks ($30/box)

A Half Share buys a box of 8+ seasonal vegetables every other week.

Greens

Full and Half CSA shares will not receive washed and bagged salad greens weekly, but will on occasion.

If your household eats a lot of baby greens, we offer the option to add them on to basic shares.

A Few Things About Our CSA:

By signing up for our CSA, you are committing to the best of your ability to receive produce every week of your share schedule, rain or shine.

Boxes are pre-packed, this is not a free-choice CSA.  We do not have the capacity to customize the items in your box.

You will get a diversity of vegetables throughout the season.  Some varieties may be unfamiliar, and we promise everything we grow is delicious.

We let CSA members know what's in the box every week and provide cooking tips and recipes.

This is a vegetable CSA. Other fruits besides melon are not included in the shares.

Our CSA is valued at 15%-25% off market price.

We do not grow sweet corn.

INVOICING

We will confirm your share choice and send an invoice to the email you provided in the sign-up form.

LOGISTICS

Pick up details will be scheduled before the start of the CSA.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are a small farm and cannot absorb cancellation.

During the first four weeks of the program, if you need to cancel we will charge an $100 cancellation fee, issue you a prorated reimbursement, and take on another member from our waiting list.

Cancellations after the 4th week of CSA will not be issued any reimbursement.

VACATIONS + ABSENCES

If you vacation or otherwise cannot attend pickup days during the season, we ask that you make arrangements with friends or neighbors to collect your share if possible or arrange farm pick up.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Occasionally, there may be a week when CSA will be impacted by weather. In these cases, we will reschedule CSA pickup when conditions are safe.

ARE WE CERTIFIED ORGANIC?

Though we are not yet certified organic, we are in the process of certifying our operation and intend to be fully certified by Fall 2024. We follow organic management standards and are building the necessary records and systems that the certification requires.
